So if you're a bit of a beauty junkie like myself then you'll know that the Lorac PRO Palette is far from new. However, as of a few months ago, it's new to my collection. Therefore, here is my candid (and extremely one-sided) review of the bestselling palette.
What originally attracted me to this product was that unlike other popular palettes, this one had an equal number of both matte and shimmer shades. My first high end makeup palette was the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and while I loved it to death, I did find that I was missing more matte shades, at least ones that worked with my dark complexion.
This palette, however, offers a variety options for various skin tones and occasions. Each shade is very finely milled, buttery and opaque with just one swipe (which I very much appreciate in order to get my money's worth).
Speaking of the shades just look at them! Words can't really do them justice. The team over at Lorac did a great job pairing shades that compliment each other while also highlighting both warm and cool skin tones.
Whether you're looking to invest more into your makeup collection and are contemplating your first big buy or simply looking for a more versatile palette, I would recommend this any day of the week. The colors are flattering, long-lasting and widely universal. You won't be disappointed!

So for a while I've been considering a new series on the blog that would basically be a monthly book club. But if I'm being perfectly honest (with you and myself), I've definitely fallen off the reading wagon. However, this month I have gone on a bit of a television show bender. While I'm not incredibly proud of this fact, I figure the least I can do to redeem myself would be to turn it into something productive.
That being said, I'm considering doing a review of a new television series every month. Watching these shows has been a great distraction from reality, but in order to come back to Earth I figure I'd involve someone else (more like all my readers) in my madness. If this is something you would even be remotely (haha) interested in, let me know in the comments below!
P.S. For an idea of some of the shows we (yes, we) would be discussing, I've recently watched (and am itching to talk about) Jane the Virgin, American Horror Story: Murder House and Suits...to name a few.

I recently tweeted how excited I was to have ordered this gorgeous floral duster from ASOS. Now that it's finally come in...I was a little stumped on how to style it. Luckily, that minor road block didn't last very long and here are just a few of the combos I've come up with.
Mix It Up | I used to love mixing patterns, but I realized I've shied away from that lately. Rule of thumb: as long as the patterns you're mixing are in the same color family (here both patterns have navy blue in them), you're good to go.
How would you style such a statement piece? Either tweet me your own picks or share your suggestions in the comments below!

When You're Feeling Godly | Oppositely, pairing a monochrome look with one bold piece can make a statement as well. An all-white look is effortless, fool-proof and timelessly chic.
Anything Boys Can Do | For this last look I decided I wanted to see what I could do with this jacket and a pair of sneakers. And thus, this menswear inspired look was born. It actually might just be my favorite!

Green is exactly what your friends will be at the sight of your glowing, clear, blemish-free skin with this product I have to share. I decided to take the corny, cliche route and honor St. Patrick's Day with an awesome little product that, you guessed it, is green.
Fairly recently I purchased The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil which I had seen a few bloggers rave about before. I have to say, I understand the appeal. It does a great job at reducing both redness and blemishes.
Now, for those of you who have been following my blog for a while now (I see you Best, Jordan readers), you know that my heart will always belong to benzoyl peroxide creams. However, this is a fabulous alternative for those with sensitive skin or who find benzoyl peroxide too drying. This tea tree oil has been my go-to during these harsh winter months when my skin could use a bit more nourishment and a lot less stripping.
Another bonus: no white streaks! The peroxide creams I use are white and unless you are meticulously applying it in a mirror, the chances of walking out of your house with odd white streaks on your face are pretty high. Because this product is an oil, it's simply absorbed into the skin...which comes in handy when I'm getting ready in a rush...which is always.
The only possible con is the smell. While I personally don't mind it too much, I must admit it has a very pungent medicinal scent. Don't let that hold you back from trying a great product though; the scent disappears in no time!
If you've tried this product before, let me know your thought in the comments below!

Most likely if you've gone shopping at all this season, you've noticed that the "silver as a neutral" trend is everywhere...and probably here to stay. For the fashion risk-takers out there, that's great! I look forward to bumping into you and your holographic handbag at some rosé and avocado sponsored brunch. However, if you just want to dip your toe into the trend, try a statement necklace or even metallic nails. That way you're able to pay a silent homage to this summer's trend while still feeling comfortable in your own skin.
Do you plan on rocking silver this summer? If so, I'd love to know how you would style it!
