About a year and a half ago it became increasingly apparent that many of my new favorite fashion bloggers and YouTubers all had a few things in common. For one, they all had incredible personal style. They're makeup was always subtle, but still somehow made a statement. Oh, and they're all of Asian decent. Clearly there's something they know that I don't and I would gladly follow each of them to the ends of the Earth to discover just what it is that makes their style so flawless, effortless and undeniably chic.

Cassie and Ricci of ToThe9s | Their style appeals to my minimalistic side. Typically donning classic, monochromatic looks they tend to stray away from more flashy, trendy pieces and somehow always seem to light up a room without them. YouTube / Blog

Jenn of ClothesEncounters | Jenn, on the other hand, is on the opposite end of the spectrum. Bold colors, loud prints and sky-high platforms are more her speed and she pulls it off seamlessly. It's hard to imagine her petite frame not being overwhelmed by her unique silhouette choices and yet...well, I'll let you see for yourselves! YouTube

Yanin of I Dress Myselff | Formly known as Pretty Sickly, that's exactly how to describe her style: pretty damn sick. Now that I think about it, she's a bit of a fusion of the style of the first three ladies. She's just as fond of a good monochrome moment as she is a quality statement piece. She's definitely been a major style inspiration for me this past year. YouTube / Blog

Vanessa of The Haute Pursuit | While this blog is a more recent discovery of mine (as in, last week), it has easily secured a place on this list. I immediately fell in love with her editorial eye and high fashion aesthetic. There is something so luxurious about her personal style and blog design that I can't help but go back for more. Blog
